From May 30 to June 1, 2014 UBC will host the 2014 MasterCard Foundation Scholars Convening at its Vancouver campus. The theme of the 2014 convening is “Transformative Leadership” – a kind of leadership that is driven by purpose, social mission and self-awareness. MasterCard Foundation Scholars and program managers from more than twelve institutions will be in attendance to take advantage of this exciting opportunity to reflect on what transformative leadership means to them and their peers through a series of discussion and workshops. At the end of the three day convening, they will translate their vision into practical ideas to strengthen the Scholars Community.
