Favour is a resilient, inquisitive and dedicated individual. She has constantly craved for excellence both in the academia and her interest to provide global solutions in the field of agro-environmental studies. She emerged as the best graduating student in the department of Agricultural Extension and Communication, at the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria.

She has been actively engaged in volunteering with Street Kids Helping Initiatives (SKHI), a renowned non-governmental organization that is concerned about elevating the education, well-being and tech skills of children in slum areas of Southwestern Nigeria through their school projects, tech tours and gender-based sensitization.

During her undergraduate study, she interned at Obasanjo Farms Nigeria (OFN) and carried out field works in rural crop farms which groomed her dexterity in utilizing effective communication as a powerful tool to solve agricultural issues. Favour has a strong passion for carrying out research on the impact of the environment on agriculture and vice versa. She was trained at Green Switch Academy on the rudiments of environmental conservation hence, she has decided to embark on pursuing the Masters of Land and Water Systems at UBC. She believes that these two essential elements (land and water) are crucial for the promotion of food security and judicious conservation of environmental resources.

She is looking forward to making global connections and getting equipped with skills that can enable her to offer workable solutions to the agricultural and environmental sectors of her home country Nigeria, and the world at large.
