    Meet Forgive Agbesi, a dedicated and passionate data scientist with a love for technology and education. Known for her diligence, industry, and instructional expertise, Forgive is driven by a desire to harness technology to empower the next generation.

    She received her information technology degree from the University of Ghana with first-class honors. Forgive demonstrated her commitment to education by volunteering as a coding tutor for Woogle Africa’s summer camps and TARD Ghana while attending the University of Ghana. Creating and executing a curriculum that successfully taught computer science and coding fundamentals to 30 kids in basic schools and young IT enthusiast is one of her proudest achievements. This experience has honed her skills in curriculum development and student engagement, which also strengthened her resolve to ensure that everyone has access to technology education.

    Forgive is now pursuing her Master of Data Science (MDS) at the University of British Columbia (UBC), aiming to leverage her knowledge to create data-driven strategies that enhance instruction and student experiences. Her goal is to equip students with effective learning techniques and provide tutors with expert guidance.

    Forgive is thrilled to join the UBC community, exploring Vancouver, connecting with like-minded individuals, and capitalizing on the university’s research opportunities. She is eager to contribute to and learn from this vibrant community, making the most of her time at one of the world’s top universities.
