Abigail Okyere, MCF and UBC Sauder School of Business Alumna, sat down with the Mastercard Foundation’s Scholar Voices series to speak about her experience and motivation to build capacity in Ghana and Africa for people to access funding for different opportunities. Reflecting on her journey, Abigail highlights how her determination an openness has given her the chance to grow. She is now using that growth to help others, particularly by mentoring women in academia and business.
She says, “My Mentoring is really understanding what their passion, what their vision is, what they want to accomplish, and enabling them to get there”.
