Adewole is best described as an intelligent, reserved, and resilient individual. He graduated as the best student in his class from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Forest Resources Management. Over the years, Adewole has been an active member of the Junior Chamber International where service to humanity is at its best. His industrial training at the Forestry Research Institute of Nigeria and National Center for genetic resources and Biotechnology gave him more insights into the practice of Forestry which fueled his passion for sustainable management of Forests in Nigeria, Africa, and the World. Belonging to professional organizations like the Forestry association of Nigeria, International Forestry Students Association, African Forest Forum and volunteering in NGO’s like the Northern Initiative for promotion and renaissance value, his desire to be an icon of change in the Forestry sector of Nigeria and Africa, hence, pursuing a Master’s degree in Sustainable Forest Management.
Adewole is very excited about studying and obtaining a master’s degree at UBC due to the world class forestry education provided. He looks forward to meeting and exchanging ideas with the Forestry intellectuals in his pathway of becoming an icon in Forestry discipline.
