Daily, the media has been presenting the environmental challenges we are facing today from all corners of the world, especially within Africa because of forest depletion and mismanagement. I believe that the Master of International Forestry at UBC will equip me with the expertise to explore and address critical social and global issues of forest management to benefit individuals, communities, and nature and to make a grand contribution to forest sustainability. I am excited about the opportunity to network with like-minded people from various backgrounds.
