Libia Niyodusenga

By maya zwang on July 5, 2017

Libia is a graduate of Liquidnet High School at Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village, Rwanda.  A self-described curious person, he possesses an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, from academics to agriculture, world-famous natural sites and human-made structures.  Dedicated to sharing his love of learning, Libia volunteered in his community to teach English to primary school students.  He was drawn to UBC because of its excellence in multidisciplinary research, as his own experience with subsistence farming in Rwanda has emphasized the connections between agriculture, malnutrition, economic inflation, and international relations.  He is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts at UBC, with a particular interest in economics.
